How we got here:
When we first started almost 11 years ago we focused on providing support for Networking (i.e. Cisco). Carefully monitoring the needs of our clients inspired us to add maintenance for Storage ( i.e. NetApp, EMC) and Servers (IBM, HP, Dell and more). As we expanded, we changed our name to Smart 3rd Party on March 8, 2013 so that it reflects our complete offering range.
Ten years ago third parties primarily competed primarily with the manufacturer, but through the years acceptance has grown in the marketplace and today 3rd Party Maintainers are accepted as a safe alternative to the manufactures overpriced maintenance and support. The business has evolved to where now we compete with other 3rd Party Maintainers more often than not. We know that price is the number one driver when an organization makes the decision to move to a 3rd Party.
